In February of 2020, Abby and Cricket came to live with Rosie and I. A friend  posted them on Facebook explaining that her mother was very ill and would not be able to care for them any longer. Taking them home herself was not an option for my friend either (although she would have in a heartbeat!). 

Rosie and I had recently said goodbye to our two previous seniors. We were lost without our little pack and when I saw the Facebook post my first thought was, “Well we have two beds available.” I reached out and we set up a trial weekend for the girls. Long story short, Abby and Cricket never left after that weekend. Rosie and I were in love!

Abby and Cricket came into my care when Furever In Him was only a dream. Now, they are the very first two official seniors to be part of our mission of providing forever homes to senior pets. Abby is around 12/13 and Cricket is around 11/12. They were my youngest seniors when they joined the family in 2020. Now they’re my oldest.
